Margaret Moore, MSW, is a clinical social worker in private practice in Deerfield and Northbrook, Illinois.  She practices psycho-dynamic psychotherapy with women and men, individually, in relationship and in groups.  She also works with young adults.  She offers day-long workshops for women and professional consultation to psychotherapists.
Margaret is a highly experienced therapist, with diverse training including psychoanalytic study, crisis counseling, Divorce Mediation, grief work, and adjustment to medical diagnoses.  She holds a strong belief in the use of non-traditional approaches to healing and growth, including shamanic ritual, body work,  art therapy, music and yoga.   Skilled in the subtleties of understanding and empathy, she assists clients in reaching a deeper level of connection to themselves.

“My focus is making your life the best possible.  My professional goal is to provide a safe and protected place, in an atmosphere of ease and acceptance, in which to do this.  We examine circumstances, find patterns, identify core values and focus on specific challenges.  Here you can explore your life and your concerns freely and without judgment.  By embracing whatever surfaces, our deeper work leads to even greater and more sustained change in your life. ”

“It is my honor and delight to assist people in using their own wisdom to balance their lives.  The more closely our external choices reflect our internal beliefs, the richer and more peaceful our lives.”
